When did you join the staff and what is your position?
I joined the staff on January 3, 2023 as the Director of Communications.
What is your favorite thing about working here?
My favorite thing about working at Wrightsville UMC is being responsible for delivering the good news of Wrightsville UMC to all of our members and community!
Where were you born and raised?
I was born and raised in Manteo on the Outer Banks. I feel very fortunate to have grown up in such a beautiful area and grateful that my parents still live there so my family can visit and make lifelong memories in such a special place!
Where did you go to school?
I graduated from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston is still one of my favorite places to visit.
Do you have family?
I do, and they are my pride and joy! I have a wonderful husband, Scotty, and we’ve been married for 20 years. We have 2 sons, Sadler who is 17 and Batten who is 14. They keep us busy!
What do you like to do in your free time?
My family dictates what I do in my free time and wouldn’t trade that for anything. If I do have a choice, I love to go to dinner with my friends, take a walk, read, advocate for individuals with autism and their families, support our local theater community, or sit on the beach! The simple things bring me the most joy.
