Join us on Sundays!  We have two outdoor worship services.  One is at 9 am at Wrightsville Beach Park and then our Worship on the Water service is at 4 pm at South Channel Park (around the corner from the church.)   Don't forget your mask and chair! And as always, we also offer an online service each Sunday.  To watch our online service (beginning at 6 am on Sunday, May 2) click here.

The Symbols and Meanings Behind Our Logo

Every color and shape in the new logo reflects our church motto, “Deep Roots, Bountiful Fruit!”

Deep Roots

Deep Roots

The human figure, which is the body of the tree, represents each of us who are deeply rooted in Christ. Each person bears fruit of the Spirit and reaches out to all in love, joy and peace.

Spiritual Growth

Spiritual Growth

The green sky represents growth in the fruit of the Spirit.

Coastal Community

Coastal Community

The blue sea speaks to our identity in a coastal community.

Bountiful Fruit

Bountiful Fruit

Red represents the bountiful fruit which we bear, marking our transformation into the image of Christ.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit

The white dove represents the Holy Spirit who goes forth into the world in each of us. The Holy Spirit uses our bountiful fruit for the transformation of our community and world.

The Cross

The Cross

The “T” in the midst of our name, “Wrightsville”, is the Christian symbol of the cross. A red flame embraces the cross, reflecting our deep-rooted United Methodist heritage and traditions.
