Monday Morning Co-Ed Bible Study
A co-ed Bible study that meets every Monday at 7:30 am at WOO (Wrightsville on Oleander), led by David Ray and Jay Harris. We are currently on vacation, but stay tuned! We will reconvene in February! Email Pastor Miles Baker Hunt for more information.
Monday Night Lights Bible Study
A women’s study led by Sherri Ingle, this class kicks off on January 5th until February 16th, and meets at 5:30 pm at The Landing. Monday Night Blessings Bible Study
A women’s study led by Ann Jenkins, this class runs from January 12th until March 2nd, meeting at 6:00 pm in Room 206. This study will dive into the Book of Titus through Titus: Displaying the Gospel of Grace, by Courtney Doctor. Come join us as we grow in faith together. Lenten Bible Study
As we enter the reflective season of Lent, the Rev. David Goehring will lead a five-week study exploring God’s grace and our own lived experience of grace. Drawing on the teachings of Jesus and the writings of the Apostle Paul, we will consider how God freely and faithfully shares grace with all people. Join us for this meaningful Lenten journey of faith and reflection. The study will meet Tuesday evenings in the Chapel from 5:30–6:30 p.m., February 24 through March 24. Thursday Morning Men’s Bible Study
Gene Ingle and Jack Kilbourne lead this ongoing study every Thursday at 6:45 am in the Fellowship Hall. Join us as we dive deep into the Bible and strengthen our faith together! No registration is required to join this group. Email Pastor Miles Baker Hunt for more information.
Thursday Morning Ladies Bible Study

Thursday Morning at 10 Women’s Study

Moms and Friends’ Bible Study
Led by Chelsea Long, this class meets every other Thursday morning at 9:15 am at Wrightsville On Oleander (WOO). While many of us are moms, all young women are warmly invited! Young Women’s Group
Led by Meredith Harris, this group meets on the first and third Tuesday evenings of each month at 6 pm. Connect with other young women in a supportive and faith-filled environment! Email Pastor Eunsoo Kang for more information.

United Women in Faith
The United Women in Faith (UWF) is made up of women of our church. All women are welcome to join. The Wrightsville UWF support ministries advocating for women, youth, and children in need within our local community and district. This group works to build a supportive community among women, engage in activities that foster growth in the Christian faith, mission education, and Christian social involvement. Currently, the Wrightsville UWF supports the following ministries:
- The Methodist Home for Children
- Wilmington Domestic Violence Shelter
- WUMC Campus Ministries
- Harbor District’s Annual Pledge to Mission
- Step Up Wilmington
- Coastal Horizons Center
- A Safe Place
- A.R.M.
The UWF consists of “circles,” or small groups who meet monthly. The time and place of circle meetings vary depending on the circle, but all meet for a time of planning and fellowship. While each circle has their own small projects, outreach programs, education programs, and fellowship goals, all circles work together to support the WUWF “Do Three Things Well” campaign to raise money for annual ministries mentioned above. The “Do Three Things Well” campaign includes:
- Annual Gifts to Mission
- Low Country Boil
- Annual Cookie Walk
The Wrightsville UWF currently has four active circles.
Circle of Hope: Meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 12:00 pm. Contact: Jeannie DeGaetano

United Methodist Men
All men of the church are invited to join the United Methodist Men. Held throughout the year as scheduled, their meetings are planning sessions for the organization of events sponsored by this group. Some annual favorites include the Fish Fry in the fall and an annual Golf Tournament in the spring. Watch the Seagull and bulletin for information about the next meeting, event, or project! Roy Sandlin Class (Room 105)
Led by Mel Pitts, this class meets in Room 105. Engage in meaningful discussions and grow in faith together!
Agape (Room 201)
Agape, our longest-standing and most historic class, meets in Room 201 and continues throughout the year, following the Cokesbury curriculum. Join us as we carry on a legacy of fellowship, spiritual growth, and deep connection!
Walk in Faith (Room 202)
Led by Barny Ratliff, this class meets in Room 202 on an ongoing basis. Walk together in faith and discover new insights every week!
Circle of Friends (The Landing)
Led by Scott Whisnant, this class gathers at The Landing. We are currently on vacation but stay tuned! We will resume in late August 2025!
