What drew you to this job?
I have always had a deep love of music and I love working with children, so it seemed like a perfect fit. I have a background in education, but no longer teach full-time, so I am honored excited to get to use my teaching skills and share my passion for music with the wonderful children at Wrightsville.
What is you favorite thing about working here?
I love the community at Wrightsville. I feel very fortunate to get to do what I love alongside friendly, helpful, and passionate people.
Where did you go to school?
I went to UNCW twice. GO SEAHAWKS! I have a Bachelor’s in Special Education and a Master’s in Public Administration.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to perform! I am very active in the local theatre community where I perform in plays, musicals, and fundraisers throughout the year. I also love to spend time outdoors. I am very lucky to get to do all these fun things with my husband Chris, who also sings in the Chancel Choir with me at Wrightsville.
