Sunday School
Our Sunday School is growing at a time when most congregations in the US are experiencing smaller Sunday Schools than ever before. Wonder why? We think it’s because we have so much fun teaching the Bible here at WUMC! Sunday School for children and adults is offered every Sunday (even through the summer) at 9:45 am.
Children
Preschool through 5th Grade all study the “Rock Solid” series by Cokesbury. Each week is an exciting new adventure into the Word of God.
Threes (Room 111)

Adults
Roy Sandlin Class (Room 105)
Teacher: Beth Perry
This class was one of the first Sunday school classes at WUMC. This class generally participates in topical studies or book studies. It is made up of mainly senior adults, but they welcome all ages.
Son Seekers (Annex)
Teacher: Dawn Riddle
This class is made up of singles and couples ranging in age from 35–75 and generally participates in book studies. They welcome new members at any time.
Walk in Faith (Room 202)
Teacher: Rotates
The Walk in Faith class is a discussion-oriented Bible study class with adults of all ages. The class alternates between Bible studies and book studies and welcomes members of all ages.
Agape (Room 205)
Teacher: Peggy Efird
The Agape class is comprised of adults of all ages. This class uses the New International Adult Lessons and welcomes new members.
Wanna-Be’s (Annex)
Teacher: Randy Griffin
This class has a diverse age from the mid-thirties to the mid-sixties. They generally use the New International Adult Lessons and welcome members at any time.
Circle of Friends (Annex)
Welcoming new members at any time, this group practices open, intercessional prayer and quiet meditation. Leadership and teaching responsibilities are shared by all members.
