Welcome back for our spring season of Wrightsville UMC's small group for elementary school aged children (kindergarten thru 5th grade) Movies & Mayhem! During the school year, we will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, with a few exceptions, from 4pm until 5:30pm in the fellowship hall. To explore favorite Bible stories through skits, games, crafts and snacks! If you would like to volunteer with this program, please contact Melissa at melissa@wrightsvilleumc.org. Soles4Souls
We would like to make "Service" a real cornerstone of our Children's Ministry here at WUMC. Our mission project for the Spring is Soles4Souls. This is a Nashville-based charity that collects shoes from the warehouses of footwear companies and the closets of people like you. The charity distributes these shoes to people in need. since 2005, Soles4Souls has delivered over 16 million pairs of new and gently worn shoes. These shoes have been distributed to people in over 127 countries, including Kenya, Thailand, Nepal and the United States. Save those gently used shoes and have your child bring them to class. Many children will be familiar with this program from Vacation Bible School. We will be collecting through April 29.

Please remember to have your child bring in their offering to Sunday school. This is a great way to teach our children the joy and responsibility of giving back. No amount is too small and the children are always so proud of themselves for being able to help
