Our youth director is Jackson Norvell. Jackson is responsible for implementing all aspects of our youth program, from Sunday night youth meetings to special youth trips and outreach activities.

Ruth Cotton is the director of the church preschool. The preschool has been in existence since 1996 and prides itself on being a small, caring community of parents, staff and children.

Donna Pinckney is the Director of Spiritual Formation. Her position includes the coordination of adult programming of all types at Wrightsville. She is also involved with developing fellowship and outreach activities.

Julia Walker-Jewell is WUMC’s music director. She works with several different children’s choirs as well as directing the handbell choir and the adult chancel choir. Her focus is on offering a variety of styles of music as a part of Sunday morning worship. She also is involved with one or two big musical productions at the church each year.
